ServiceNow Developer/Administrator


Elite Technical is seeking a ServiceNow Developer/Administrator for our client. This group is essentially creating their own Federal SNOW space to be standalone from their commercial business. This position is remote based, but East Coast candidates are preferred for potential Washington DC visits. Responsibilities include:

- Configure, manage, and optimize ServiceNow instances while administering user roles, permissions, and security settings in line with company policies, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum performance through routine maintenance and troubleshooting
- Develop and manage ServiceNow workflows, notifications, and business rules to enhance IT and business processes, while designing and customizing applications and modules (ITSM, ITOM, SPM) based on specific business requirements
- Create and manage custom scripts using ServiceNow scripting languages (JavaScript, Glide, AngularJS) and build custom forms, reports, and dashboards to meet the needs of business users
- Implement and manage integrations between ServiceNow and third-party systems (REST/SOAP)
- Provide Tier 2/3 support for complex incidents, documenting solutions in a knowledge base for future reference

Required Skills


- Active Secret Clearance or willing to obtain one
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related fields, with proficiency in ServiceNow development, workflow tools, and reporting, alongside excellent analytical skills and the ability to work effectively in a diverse team environment, any related certifications are a plus
- At least 5 years (more preferred) of experience in ServiceNow development, including scripting business rules, workflows, and UI Policies, alongside experience with ServiceNow integrations (REST, SOAP, Import Sets) and familiarity with development tools like ServiceNow Studio and Service Portal
- Possess knowledge of ServiceNow reporting, dashboards, and performance analytics, with experience in workflow tools and a strong understanding of US Government IT control environment expectations
- Good project management skills, with the ability to plan, execute, and deliver projects on time while multi-tasking across various initiatives, maintaining attention to detail, and demonstrating excellent analytical and critical thinking abilities
